Contribute in the region of £2.1 million in Gross Value Added (GVA) annually through direct, indirect, and wider economic impacts.

The brickworks and quarry support 73 gross direct FTE jobs. When including indirect and supply chain impacts, this rises to 123 FTE jobs in the local area and 134 FTE jobs across the wider economy.

Existing economic activity generates around £17.8 million in GVA per year locally, and £19.3 million per year across County area.

The proposed development has potential to safeguard existing employment over the longer-term, and will increase the Applicant’s economic footprint by +11.8% locally, and +10.9% more widely across the County area.
