Noise Control
  • Mobile quarry plant is maintained to ensure noise emissions are minimised

  • The use of vegetated screening bunds provide mitigation for noise sensitive properties

  • Strict hours of working are employed to limit operational activity on site to acceptable times

  • Noise levels are monitored as part of the design and assessment process to ensure an acceptable working scheme

Air Quality and Dust Control
  • During dry weather, all haul roads in the quarry are kept damp to         minimise dust blow

  • Air quality is monitored as part of the assessment process and during operation.

  • A construction and environmental management plan will be              employed to ensure environmental best practice.
