The consultation period runs until 31 October 2025 after which we will take account of all comments received.

 

After considering the comments received during this consultation, 
the next steps will be:

​

  • Submission of a planning application to Worcestershire County Council (January 2026)

 

  • The County Council will formally consult with the local Community  (January – March 2026)

 

  • Target for determination of the planning application by Worcestershire County Council  (Autumn 2026)

 

  • If approved, soil stripping in the extension area to commence on site (April 2027) (TBC)

​The planning application will be made available on the Council’s
Public Access website once the planning application has been
submitted and validated. This will include a Statement of Community Involvement which will set out details of feedback received from this consultation.
